Inside Columbus, the City will take a couch or chair through 311 — but only after it’s wrapped completely in plastic, set out at an occupied home no more than 72 hours early, and only if it isn’t part of a move-out or cleanout.
We skip all of that. Nothing has to be wrapped, nothing has to reach the curb, and a whole-house clear-out is fine. Suburbs run their own hauler contracts, so their rules differ from the City’s.
